East Boston originally consisted of five islands in Boston Harbor. Over time, they
have been connected and extended. As it has been historically, East Boston continues to be a
neighborhood of immigrants and Logan Airport. You can find both new and historic rental homes,
many of which have been recently restored to their former glory.
