Life
in Brookline
Brookline, surrounded on
three sides by Boston, is its most inner suburb. 57,000 residents
have chosen to live in one of Brookline's villages, which
include Chestnut Hill, Coolidge Corner and Cleveland Park
because it's a suburban choice with easy access to Boston
via the C and D lines, bus service and Route 9.
Brookline consists a number of villages all
of which have a different character. Chestnut Hill is upscale
and very suburban with quiet, tree-lined streets. The Village
of Brookline offers a combination of suburban and city living.
Coolidge Corner is the hippest neighborhood and features the
Art Deco Coolidge Corner theater as well as an interesting
shopping and restaurant scene.
Brookline rents vary greatly depending on the
neighborhood you choose.
